Clutching At Straws for me, although I love Misplaced Childhood almost equally, but there are many more parts of Clutching At Straws that still resonant with me to this day.

Clutching. Hotel Hobbies may be just about one of their best songs. It leads perfectly to Warm/Time Of The Night. Though there's so many great songs.

Clutching At Straws has become my favourite literally in the last month. Misplaced Childhood a very close second though.

Clutching at Straws was my first Marillion experience and remains one of my top favorites of all time. Since you brought it up I am going to give it a listen to right now!

(Wish I could vote in the poll; I do not have enough posts yet.....)

Fugazi with no votes...not annymore!

Honestly, I could answer either the debut, Fugazi, or Clutching...all five star records in my book.

Misplaced Childhood, which as it happens is my all time favourite album.

Rate 'em all highly, but Fugazi was the one that captured me as a fan - always loved it.

Just a shame they never play anything from it these days. Does Hogarth or one of the others hate it? I'm sure I read something along those lines somewhere.

DAT CHILDHOOD

1. Misplaced Childhood - Love the lyrics and aura of this album. It's hopeful, melancholic and majestic. The album could have closed off with a better track though, in my opinion.
2. Fugazi - Better production on this none, compared to it's predecessor. The combination of singles and non commercial track is great.
3. Script For A Jester's Tear - A bit inconsistent, but the tracks that are good, are really good. The production is a bit mundane.
4. Clutching At Straws - The concept is interesting and captivating. A great listen. Thumbs Up
