Topic: Darren Lock Posted: July 29 2012 at 13:52 |
Darren Lock is a one man band, who I originally discovered on YouTube doing reviews of prog albums. It was months later that I realized he had recorded many albums, some better than others. He has a wide range of expirements he has done, and I think he should be recognized.

Yeah, I know Darren! He's a pretty cool guy. Lots of talent there. He gets my vote.

I will listen. I have heard many of his reviews.

I am currently digging: Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz! Please drop me a message with album suggestions.

I'm listening to Americana and I'm not entirely convinced. I don't really want to have to listen to dozens of albums, though. Any suggestion to his most progressive work? It would probably only take a small nudge in the right direction for a team to look at him- he has potential.

Not bad, I'm convinced. He has so much material that he has to go to Eclectic. I'll let them know.

Yeah, Americana's a bit of a stinker, not the best way to approach his stuff.
