Bruford for KC, but I do love Jon & Vangelis, Jon's solo stuff, Asia, and many more here on the list. I also think that David is excellent with Mystery BTW.

It is not. And it is not a crime if I vote for Wakeman. It is ovious that Bruford was going to win but all the other members had done something great.

I really love Wakeman. Haven't heard many of Yes's solo projects, but in my book, I'd give more five star albums to Rick than to Yes themselves, or King Crimson for that matter. Perhaps even more than to Yes and King Crimson together.

o_0 | Was that for me? OK. 5 star albums from Rick Wakeman, in my opinion: 6 Wives, King Arthur, Criminal Record, and Out There. 5 star albums from Yes: Fragile and Close to the Edge. 5 star albums from King Crimson... well, only the debut (I might be tempted to put "The Power to Believe" too). But of course, that's just me.

not into Wakeman's solo except 6 wives and Journey---but that's just me--Yes has many masterpieces from Yes Album to GFTO----way more interesting musically and innovative in every way.

Da' Broof. He was in so many great bands, even in National Health too, my fave Canterbury band.

As far as interesting, that depends on the listener and his experience. However, the only albums from Yes I love from beginning to end are Fragile and CttE (well, perhaps one or two of the solo pieces on Fragile aren't so good, but they are short enough and don't really bother me). The other albums do have songs that I love, very much, but they all have songs I don't really like, or at least don't care much about them. The albums I mentioned in my earier post from Wakeman I like a lot from beginning to end, and at least 6 wives I would think was pretty innovative and interesting. The other ones may have been more predictable, and even "cheesy" or too "pompous"... but that doesn't bother me at all. And yes, I love the way rock and orchestra are integrated on the Arthur album. But then again, I understand many people don't share the same love towards Wakeman music as I do.

It is easy. Bruford by a mile, but I think that Fish Out of Water is the best solo album from any of the Yes members.
