Q. Betcha Thought We Couldn't Do It?
A. No, I did not think that you could do it GG. That is why it is the worst song that you ever put on record. So All Through The Night. I have always liked it and am surprised it looks as if it will be voted as the second worst song ever recorded by GG......don't think so.....there are far worse songs on Giant For A Day than All Through The Night. Great Gary Green Riff.

These are odd choices. Betcha is obviously lightweight but it's funny and performed with a lot of energy. Not that I expected a prog forum to go easy on a vaguely punkish song.
All Through the Night is pretty tacky, but the riff is great. I'm not entirely familiar with GG's last three albums (which are obviously the best candidates for this kind of poll), but these two certainly aren't among the worst on their respective albums. Off the top of my head, I consider Mountain Time and Convenience to be a lot worse. |
