Hello everyone.
I am the drummer/founder of my experimental project tiled "Asamkhya" (it means the art of the Infinite in Sanskrit)
We add Indian classical influences to a rock/metal sound. It has been my dream to do this and hope God gives us his blessings to continue to experiment more and explore unknown territory..
The recording is a very rough one.
But hope you like it. Sorry if the recording quality is bad.
Do give your feedback on how the music is.
Thanks!

Good stuff. I felt the Carnatic portions were better executed and more pleasing to the ears.  Maybe your band is already doing that, I can't judge from one song, but I would suggest exploring the more dissonant ragas like Thodhi if you want to mix it with growls.  Also, panthuvarali.  Wink

Thanks for your input. This was just the first recording. I am trying to move to a more progressive rock style of music with better carnatic sequences in the next single. Its hard to find good prog keyboardists in Chennai. Everyone here dont know anything else other than grand piano and normal organ when there are a lot of different things to try out like Hammond, Mini Moog, Mellotron, Rhodes Piano, Harpsichord, etc
