Info and discography from The Spanish Progressive Rock Encyclopedia:
Progressive folk from Madrid. Band formed by Luis Mendo and Bernardo Fuster that became and important source of some of the best spanish musicians later, like Tino di Geraldo, drums (Paco de Lucía, Camarón, Luz Casal or Manolo Sanlúcar), Billy Villegas, bass (Aute, Cómplices, Antonio Vega), Andreas Prittwitz, sax (Ana Belén, Miguel Ríos...) or Esther Godinez (Sabina, Duncan Dhu..). In 1987 Luis Mendo and Bernardo Fuster decided to begin working in composition on-demand and disolved the band, working as composers for cinema, TV and theatre. In 1993 they take again the name of Suburbano as well as their works for the screen, and recorded the album "Fugitivos", the first one for their current label, AVISPA. In "De Cine" they make a summary of a life devoted to the creation of original soundtracks.

While there is a point where they get more pop elements, I think around the first three albums might be interesting for PA, occasionally it's quite jazzy folk rock as well. One sample from the first and the rest from the second album.

Nice find! Interesting mix of folk-prog elements, symphonic moments, and quite a bit of fusion material. I'll alert the folk team, as that seems to be the dominating style still.
