I love both, but Happy Family makes some of the most traditional Zeuhl with an awesome Japanese flair out there, so I went with them.

Man... I love both as well.

I'm going with Happy Family because Koenjihyakkei is the same people as Ruins and they are better imo.

Although I like the few Ruins albums that I have considerably, I'm also voting Happy Family, but specifically for the début which I got after getting TosccoToscco was actually a disappointment for me when I got it (had heard so much hype about it), but the self-titled really hit my buttons.

I thought Toscco was fantastic. I actually still haven't heard the debut.

And I'm surprised no one has voted for Ruins, seeing as it is a Yoshida project. LOL

This poll got me to return to Toscco, and I like it more than I used to.... And I may like the début less than I used to.

Voted for the band who shares it's name with a King Crimson song, not the one who shares it's name with a Henry Cow song.

Happy Family is maybe my favorite Japanese band. Toscco is phenomenal.
