Hey Steve, during your little Italian stint here not so long ago, did you ever check out Capitolo 6? This selftitled opening cut called Frutti Per Kagua is definitely my favourite song today (just as it was yesterday actually...).
It's a long one though, so bear with me - or just fast forward to about 5 minutes in or so. It goes from gritty heavy RPI to the most chill out Floydian feel although happening with a flute(?) - and here we're talking back to 1969-70 - and then evolves into what genuinely sounds like Krautrock, only to spring back into some beautiful acoustic guitar balladry and that ever so gentle RPI feel. The recording is rough though, but that's one of my favourite things about it. Feels like sitting in a dirty 1970s studio in downtown Italy-townCool
