I've never heard anything quite like it actually, though Alcest are quite similar. A very unique blend of Post Rock, Shoegaze and Black Metal. Check it out, I highly, highly suggest a good listen. There's not too many bands that come around like these guys.
Indeed! Such a great album and pretty cool cover too.
On topic, for me it's probably this:

Gotta love Avey's vocals.

I could never get into these guys. Their only song I ever really liked was "Goobledigook". But I like this new one, so officially I like two of their songs now.Big smile

YES!!! So moving, my friend! I think on the first disc, that one and the fifth track `Amelia' are so impossibly grand and romantic!

Micheal. I gotta to tell you that i've enjoyed the ALCHEMY album so much. It's been an absolute pleasure to listen to. Such an interesting, theatrical rock opera! Great sound and orchestration production as well. :)

Yes - Final Eyes
I am currently digging:

Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz!

Please drop me a message with album suggestions.
