Yesterday:

Either: Jono El Grande's "Neo Dada"

Or: Jono El Grande's "The Goat"

I can't decide, but fans of Frank Zappa, Magma and Gentle Giant should definitely check these tracks out. Love his music! Highly recommended.Thumbs Up

Today:
Yet again, "Lykkepilgrim", off the new Motorpsycho and Ståle Storløkken live album. It's a winner!Approve

Fallen Angel from Robbie Robertson's S/T first solo album. Ethereal and beautiful tribute to his bandmate Richard Manuel who had committed suicide. That's Peter Gabriel singing back-up, by the way, and Tony Levin on bass. If you haven't heard the album, you won't regret it. Lost masterpiece of the 80s:

...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

Doctor,
I can whole-heartedly agree with you here - Luminol is SPECTACULAR on every level. Nick Beggs is the phenomenal Bass-Guitar talent here.....(among all the other performers to be honest.....)
Today, my fave track has got to be (........mind you, far from Prog.............but not too far, really......) .....
KAJAGOOGOO - Too Shy........... Nick Beggs is the bassist here as well. Listening carefully, his contribution to this, otherwise laughed at, New-Wave/Synth Pop 80's nostalgia act, featuring a great vocalist who goes by a cool-ish stage-name of Limahl, is just one of the greatest Pop-Hits around. Mostly considered a 'guilty pleasure', but I'm more than happy to spruik their talents.   Upon closer inspection, they are not the curdled cheeze-ball rejects from the eighties that most think they are...........
Buggles boasts Geoff Downes, Kaja boats Nick Beggs - both incredible musicians and, most versatile.
