That's one sample and here is their website: http://www.childreninparadise.com/#/esyllt-1er-album/3551643 Not sure if there are more samples, I am not so good with Flash based sites. |

Only one more youtube sample Marty:
Some more links which might be of interest: The best place to listen is the band's own website though (see o.p.) - six full samples of the ten tracks on the album. There is also a good account of the band in English (some of it translated from the band's own (French) website) here: Really loving this music, but there is more to it than Neo or even Crossover for sure. I've got a feeling this could be one of those bands that 'ping pongs' back and forth between the sub genre teams for months on end before finally finding a home. They are not too dissimilar to Mostly Autumn and Panic Room in places, to be fair...and of course we have one of those tucked way in Prog Folk!! Sure as Hell belongs here somewhere, that's for certain - great find Marty, and thanks for posting it here first rather than going straight to your team with it.

What a fantastic find, Marty. Thanks also to Yam Yam for a very intelligent addition to the debate.
It could fit within neo, crossover, folk (definitely a lot of mostly Autumn here). I am going to plump for a suggestion to eclectic for eval in the first instance.

My pleasure guys, bringing the goods into the open. Now I would see it taken by Neo for evaluation, chewing it up and then either Cross or Folk, what do you think ?

Thanks for bumping David but the band has been rejected by the Eclectic Team. I guess it would really be up to Martin if he wanted to ask his Crossover mates to check it now.

Well I have to admit to being somewhat surprised by the outcome of an outright rejection for this band. I thought this was a fairly decent banker for addition to the database somewhere. Both Martin and Steve seemed pretty positive about them too judging from the comments posted above.
Oh well - as you say...it's really in Marty's hands now, since it was his suggestion in the first place. We await with bated breath...!

Regarding teams that don't use Progfreak, I'm never sure about revealing individual votes. Let's just say that it wasn't an outright rejection, but Crossover would be the obvious option.

Yep, I'm pretty confident the band would be voted in there. I'm also pretty confident Marty will do the necessary to get things underway. Thanks for following this up Chris.
