AUGUST 15, 2012: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: KAYO DOT EMBARKS ON FIRST WEST COAST TOUR IN FOUR YEARS

This week, Avant-metallers KAYO DOT (Hydra Head,Tzadik, Robotic Empire, Antithetic Records) are embarking on their first West Coast US/Canada tour since 2008. They will be touring in support of their most recent release, 2012's Gamma Knife, which was self-released by the band digitally and had its vinyl and CD release via Antithetic Records in July. KAYO DOT's set on this tour features their more recent black-metal-inspired, unique brand of modern-composition-cum-avant-

goth, which appears on Gamma Knife, as well as several older classics. They will be touring up and down the coast from Los Angeles all the way to Vancouver, playing with bands such as Author & Punisher, Rose Windows, Thrones, Bloodmoon, Shadows, and Mirthkon along the way. Tour dates are listed below.
