Oh my god, it has nearly nothing to do with the topic, but I've just listened to Starless again and I had goosebumps on goosebumps and I was literally shaking.

Starless is too strong contender for anything.
This......has anybody listened to the cover made by After Crying on "Struggle For Life"? Simply great !
Almost indistinguishable from the original, even sung by Mr. Wetton himself!

'Three Friends' titletrack ends its album in a hair-raisingly stunning way but its not fair comparing what feels like the three last minutes of Mr. Class and Quality to a total work of art.

Just in this case, the Giant became a dwarf. You'd choose any weaker Crimson song, Starless is too strong contender for anything.

these are my ABSOLUTE two favourite POWERFULL prog songs, they just delivers on any level, be it 3 min or 12 these two tracks describes the power of prog for me, and i hope it does fore you as well
two very different songs, but both are insanly powerfull and gripping, two masterpieces of prog composition
In fact, thank you for reminding me about Three Friends. In amongst GG's canon of brilliant tracks, it can get overlooked because it's shorter and less complex than some other tracks.

Never really thought of Three Friends as an 'epic' song like Starless is. I feel like Schooldays or Peel the Paint would be better contenders against the mighty Starless (though I know who's gonna win )

Starless for sure.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.
Neither of these songs are my favorite by their respective bands, but Starless has the edge. Three friends is too short and is a great outro but cannot be compared to Starless.
Fine, i'll make a legitimate post to avoid blurred intentions.
I think these polls are silly because there seems to always be a clear winner and the only intention of making the polls is to show you like something just as much as the other.
