Starless for sure.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Obviously, Close to the Edge doesn't count.

Never really thought of Three Friends as an 'epic' song like Starless is. I feel like Schooldays or Peel the Paint would be better contenders against the mighty Starless (though I know who's gonna win Wink)

In fact, thank you for reminding me about Three Friends. In amongst GG's canon of brilliant tracks, it can get overlooked because it's shorter and less complex than some other tracks.

This just reminded me how brilliant it is.

Just in this case, the Giant became a dwarf. You'd choose any weaker Crimson song, Starless is too strong contender for anything.

'Three Friends' titletrack ends its album in a hair-raisingly stunning way but its not fair comparing what feels like the three last minutes of Mr. Class and Quality to a total work of art.

I like both, but when it comes to power I have to vote in favour of King Crimson this time.

Almost indistinguishable from the original, even sung by Mr. Wetton himself!

Oh my god, it has nearly nothing to do with the topic, but I've just listened to Starless again and I had goosebumps on goosebumps and I was literally shaking.

As much as I used to like "Starless", I'm gonna have to give it to "Three Friends". Such a mental blast. Keyboard arrangement paradise.
