What Gentle Giant member do you like the most? They all had an important role, but there must be one whom you like the best.

After few minutes of thinking, my choice would be Ray Shulman. I find him to be one of my favorite bassists, he is very creative and also cool.

It's difficult to decide, because they're all excellent musicians, but I think I slightly prefer Kerry Minnear for his compositional skills and array of keyboard techniques and sounds. Ray Shulman comes in a close second, however.

Indeed. Kerry Minnear may be my close second, and he is surely my favorite keyboardist ever (so far).

They're a fantastic bunch, especially Derek, Ray and Kerry Minnear. Out of those, I'd say Kerry for his unique playing and great songwriting.

Ray is very cool, so I voted for him.

Oh, his vocal is too gentle and weak! Why else would were his solo parts sung by Derek on live recordings?

Although Kerry's timbre and Madrigal-like style is just beautiful, creating the great counterbalance against Derek's sometimes even unpleasant shriek.

Derek for me. He had a cool, commanding voice and made a dynamic frontman who added some physicality to the cerebral music.

As a musician I'd say Kerry but I voted for John Weathers who had a lone 1 vote, he was so fun to watch to with his weird faces and body language Tongue

I liked them all and think they were all integral to the band's sound, but if I had to choose just one it would be Kerry, followed closely by Ray.

Ray's probably my favourite. The baby of the band, and who doesn't love those intricate, groove bass lines?
