In no particular order, with favorite version indicated in parentheses:

The Idiot b*****d Son (YCDTOSA2)
Dog Meat (YCDTOSA2)
The Little House I Used to Live In (Burnt Weeny Sandwich)
Father O'Blivion (Apostrophe ('))
Echidna's Arf (Of You) (Roxy & Elsewhere)
Inca Roads (One Size Fits All)
Zoot Allures (Zoot Allures)
Outside Now (Joe's Garage)
Sleep Dirt (Sleep Dirt)
What's New in Baltimore? (YCDTOSA5)

Listing only 10 favorites is hard with Zappa, so tomorrow the list may look totally different. I cheated a bit with Dog Meat, but that's what Zappa called the pairing when performed together, so hey.

Toads of the Short Forest

I'm surprised to see The Return of the Son of Monster Magnet listed so much. Zappa was the first one to admit that it's just a bunch of incoherent noise.

I definitely have to revisit a lot of my Zappa collection; It's certainly been a while. It's funny, my Zappa craze was huge when I first got into him, obtaining many albums in just a few brief months, but I've hardly touched any of them since then - a year and a half ago. Now that the first 1/3rd of reissues have come out, I'll for sure have a reason to listen to some Zappa again.

From what I can remember Wink:
1. Inca Roads
2. The Grand Wazoo
3. Peaches En Regalia
4. Don't You Ever Wash That Thing?
5. Watermelon In Easter Hay
6. Andy
7. Waka/ Jawaka
8. Montana
9. Zomby Woof
10. Village Of The Sun

Hardly touching a variety of tunes from his gigantic discography, but those are some of my favourites.

I am a semi-fan of Frank Zappa because I'm not all that familiar. Just want to say I can't wait to check all this stuff out! He's one of those guys that has almost too much to choose from when you're just getting started!!
