Hi Everyone,

I wasn't sure where to post this, hope I have finally found the right place. I think our music is eclectic prog.

I originally put our songs on band camp with a free download because it seemed like a good way to give people a chance to hear what we have done, not to make money.

Our blurb:
Allomerus is a band who are keen to to use new technology. Our first album has been conceived using not only real instruments but also synthesizers and sequencers on an iPad. We have used: gyrosynth, sunriser, isequence, iElectribe, DM1 and mellotronics M3000 to bring our music to you. We also use a Roland guitar synth for saxophone and trombone sounds and Electronic drums and percussion.

The Band consists of:
John Wegner: Guitar, synths, bass and vocals.
Paul Wegner: Drums and percussion.

Bandcamp: allomerus.bandcamp.com

Hope you like it.

Cheers
John

Howdy John.

Your post is fine where it is, but will most likely not 'go anywhere' in a hurry from here. If your ultimate desire is to be included in the archives then you can post this straight into Suggest New Bands and Artists forum now if you want to. The old policy whereby you had to be signed to a record label and have a CD released before the teams could formally evaluate you was relaxed some time ago, and a free release on bandcamp is fine these days. Can't promise that you'll definitely be accepted, but as long as the pre-eval team who check the suggestions over first consider your music to be prog, then you'll be given a fair evaluation by whichever sub genre team they consider to be the most appropriate. Listening to this, I would imagine you stand a pretty good chance in Eclectic.  Thumbs Up
