4+ years later and I would have voted the same way if I hadn't already voted in the poll.  Same thought too..

Great picks. Rush's glory days!

My personal pick would probably be Fly By Night, though of these ones I'll give it to Bastille Day

Bumped for the newer folks.  The early, shorter, punchier songs I like.

I find the idea of beheading tyrants very amusing, so my vote goes for Bastille Day.

Bastille Day, easily. A great opener to a great album. Too bad it's spoiled by, well you know. LOL

I barely chose Bastille Day over Something for Nothing.  I have to say, though, I'd also include 'Lessons' in the running: the line that Geddy belts out: "...NO YOU DIDN'T LISTEN AGAIN", stick out for me as very punchy (and it has stuck in my head for years--I think of it every time I should have listened to some good advice).

Between Circumstances and Bastille for me.  Gave it to Bastille.  I love the warm sound of Caress both in the guitar and drums, it is a bit different than any of the others.  Caress in general has grown on me over the years to become my favorite from the era represented in this poll.

Honestly, I don't love any of these songs.  (And I'm too lazy to think if there is one I do like that would fit into this category.)

All of these are great, but Circumstances is my favorite Rush track of all time.
