Kanye's earlier albums are clearly ZART material but the new one is more PMT worthy.

Just had an argument whether Swans is prog with my mother the other day. I guess this pretty much settles it.

Now that they are here, is it time to re-evaluate Angels of Light (who I suggested over 2 years ago) ?

Will the team update the PR/MR definition to reflect Swans' influence on the subgenre?

^Maybe. I wanted to change that but never got around to it. It really does need to be updated.

A great example of a group who can't be easily pigeon-holed into any one sub on PA, but deserve to be here anyway. I will send Colin a PM just in case he does not see this.

So I wasn't dreaming when I saw 'Filth' popping up on the home page, probably somewhere in between reviews for Flower Kings and Haken.
Well that really made my day.

I guess this should be my cue to start reviewing again then. Will be very hard not give 5 stars to Children Of God despite not seeing one bit of prog in there. Tongue

But hey, no Neurosis nor GYBE without them so I can see the point, on top of the strength of the 'Soundtracks for the Blind'

Maybe Angels of Light next for prog folk then?
