An obscure Aussie group from the 70's that released one self-titled album. Keyboardist was also a member of Cybotron. Two tracks can be sampled here: http://prognotfrog.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/alpha-omega-steve-maxwell-von-braund.html

Is this this band? http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=3998 Edit: I guess not. Different band members and different time period.

^ It's a blog. There are rapidshare links in the first comment below the post. And I've got doubts it's legal...

Thanks Bartek. I will leave this alone until we get a bit more, then.

The first track is closer to what the album mainly sounds like.

Wow never heard of these guys from my own country.......
tracks A1 Constellations 9:32 A2 Silent Voices 6:33 A3 Sundance 5:56 B1 Alpha Omega 8:40 B2 Dawning 9:25 B3 Reflections Credits Bass – Tony Hargreaves Guitar – John Bellamy Percussion – Ray Dick Saxophone – Dave Brown Synthesizer – Stephen Maxwell Von Braund* Its Jazz fusion anyway. Very odd too as prog can get, extreme improvisatory style, lots of brass competing, jazz percussion patterns throughout, massive sax solos, almost RIO at places, the sounds are amazing, and theres a gong thrown in and a ton of electric piano, playing a diff tune. Improv jazz galore. Have to get hold of the whole album somehow but this is a rarity. Has JMA been notified? anyone know where theres more of this band....?
