If you haven't seen the film yet and would like to, don't read this thread because you don't want to know too much beforehand!
So yeah, I'm a huge Bond fan, have been since I was 10 or something, and it's always an event to see a new entry to the lore. After the last three crappy Brosnan borefests it was great to see a return to form with Casino Royale, but that was followed by the ultimately pointless Quantum of Solace.
But now we're back on track again, Skyfall was brilliant. Perhaps even my favourite since For Your Eyes Only or something. The perfect amount of action (read: not very much) and a lot more emphasis on the characters. And some very very good twists.
I loved it, how about you?

I think it is the best Bond ever, and unexpectedly it might also be my favorite movie from this year. Good story, excellent directing, brilliant performances from just about every member of the cast.
