meh, to me Division Bell is stale and too tame. It's all very predictable and with barely any excitement going on. I don't think it's a bad record, but it just sounds like Floyd going through the motions without much passion. Piper is revolutionary on all fronts and sounds like nothing else, full of wonders and surprises. It probably also helps that I love LSD and Syd but that record captures a kind of magic innocence and fantasy that few others can.

............ which album is 'A Pipper the Gates' ??  Anyway, this is really tough, as much as I've obsessed over 'Pipper' (LOL) for the last 25 years, I go for The Division Bell as it moves me on a more emotional level.  I won't vote coz I love them both as much.

^ My personal favorites are "Cluster One" and, especially, "Marooned". And since "High Hopes" is a favorite with a lot of people here (I'm not one of those people), you might wanna check that one out too.
