Godbluff just over Still Life, which in turn is just above Pawn Hearts.

Just voted Pawn Hearts, there's simply nothing out there that can beat the craziness of "A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers".

My favourite VdGG album has changed a lot over the years. Now it's Pawn Hearts. Could be Godbluff tomorrow for all I know, though.

That's a tough one. I think anything from The Aerosol Grey Machine to Godbluff is a worthy candidate. I'm not too fond of "Childlike Faith In Childhood's End" from Still Life, but the other tracks from that are great.

"Pawn Hearts", as it has the best Hugh Banton organ parts, though "The Least We Can Do..." comes in a close 2nd. White Hammer is very moving, the subject matter is so sad and the distorted organ section at the end is so demonic.
