The Tangent - Alive and well and preparing for their seventh album release in 2013.
The album is called "Le Sacre Du Travail"
The news is that the new offering from the Tangent is now out there and can be sampled at:

I have been lucky to be given the chance to Beta test the album and even in its current form it promises to be something amazing.

The album is a journey through the working day to its conclusion at home, and features Andy Tillison's unique and clever focus on the journey, a power piece that will resonate with so many of us.
It bears all the hallmarks of a real prog masterpiece and is a truly symphonic sound. The whole album is built into 3 movements with an introduction.

There will be a pre-pre order page appearing on the Tangent website later today.
Exciting stuff!

Ooh, very exciting!

Now....do we know if, like COMM, there might be a chance of a vinyl LP release for it?!

Not sure if COMM has just a `testing the waters' experiment to see if it sold on that format or not?

As I understand it, from the Tangent themselves they are saying there is a strong possibility of a Vinyl release.
Anyone who pre-pre orders will be able to upgrade to Vinyl when its announced.

The Comm vinyl was a beautiful thing. I still need to buy one myself. Smile

As I was writing this the new page on the Tangent site has just gone live

I keep seeing people holding the album in photos on social media sites. I think they were doing some sort of pre-order dealie which is probably where these folks are getting them from and also why they are so excited about it.


Don't know if the album is out for public consumption or not Embarrassed
