But if we waits too long he'll be too late to stop the ball anyway.  Bear in mind too that the shooter has to have pretty good aim to kick it hard, fast, and in a place where the goalie can't reach it (usually in a corner), so he has a pretty good chance of missing the goal altogether anyway.  I guess over time the odds have shown that the goalie is best off just getting a good jump on the ball in one of the directions, and have a good chance of blocking it at least half the time.

Pretty sure it is.  I'm still kicking myself for missing the Swans show in Atlanta last year.  I found out about it literally as it was happening, thanks to Facebook.  Imagine that, sending me a reminder about a show that was already in progress.  Waah.

I might have to give them a try.  My gut feel is that they won't appeal to me, but you never really know until you try 'em.

How about it: Tool's Ænima has got Bill Hicks in the sleeve. Currently playing around with those striped images from the sleeve.

^ Maybe that's why they receive heavy criticism - the "funny" factor.

Anyway, just got back from an audition/rehearsal with a thrashy metal band. They don't have anyone to fill in the spots of the rhythm section, so I was trying to act the part of a metal bassist. They seem to be quite different in some tastes, but they love thrash, so ... .
