Last night and this night (sat/sun)

Goblin--No Ho Sonno ( this is a fine album from Goblin. Much better than shown here on PA 3.14? Give me a break. It's a 4.)
The Cure--Faith(my favourite from them.)
Pendragon--Introducing Pendragon (disc 1)
Pyramaze--Immortal ( symphonic Power metal is my guilty pleasure. I know a lot I these bands like to rap about dungeons&dragons, rising Phoenix's and all that other jazz, but I quite like it. Makes me want to put on a cape and conquer a castle or something. Lol)
How To Destroy Angels--How To Destroy Angels EP ( A Drowning is the best song they have ever done. REZNOR can be proud of that one.)
Saviour Machine--Behold A Pale Horse Single Ep ( absolutely brilliant remixes.)
Godspeed You! black Emperor!-- Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven (both discs) I've never been so moved by instrumental music like this in all my life. Crazy how good this album is.
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

Ah, Mr King, I just bought an Ange 4 CD set off a nice local vendor on Ebay, it's got those two, `Emile Jacote' and `Par Les Fils De Mandrin', both of which I've really never given much time to, despite owning all of those on vinyl. So I'll launch into them pretty soon! Have to say, my favourite Ange album was always `Caricatures'! I love how the keyboards on their early albums sound so bent and slightly `off', very unnerving!

Now that I look at that list, I've also got that Mona Lisa `Violin' album and never given it much of a spin either....

Wow, that 4CD set is a great way to dive in to digital Ange!  I love Caricatures too, Dignite is one of my fave songs.  I know what you mean about the keyboards...the organ sound on the 1st 2 Ange albums reminds me of a twisted version of Hugh Banton's early VDGG work.  If you click with the Ange you've got, I'd also recommend adding 1978's Guet Apens.  It's as good as the others and then you'll have the entire 70's studio albums.

I was just telling our good friend Nick about Mona Lisa the other day.  The 1st 2 albums (L'Escapade and Grimaces) are very similar to the 1st 2 Ange albums, all the way down to the highly emotive vocalist.  Then they changed singers and the next 2 (Violon & Avant Qu'll) are less theatrical and more musically refined - similar to the rest of Ange's 70's albums.  If you like Ange, you'll probably click with Mona Lisa too Wink

Wedsday and Thurs...

Exploring the ' Contain Us Boxset by Devin Townsend.
It's an 8 disc set with 2 DVDs and I'm loving it.
Devin Townsend has one of the most interesting personalities in prog rock period.
Very rarely can an artist be so incredibly funny and yet serious at the same time. His music is a wonderful expression of his exceptional personality. ;)

So far I'm 5 discs through
