Lalle Larsson - Weaveworld

I never got round to getting Weaveworld, does it come recommended?  He's a fabulous keyboard player.

I really like that album, Roj, and the several solo albums Lalle released after that. `Weaveworld' has sort of heavy fusion guitars and Jonas Reingold's amazing bass playing with Lalle's kind of loungey piano weaving in and out! I think it's wonderful, but I recall one or two people on the Flower Kings thread mentioning they didn't like it.

Sorry, a pretty rubbish answer that is more or less `You may or may not like it'!

No don't worry mate that sounds good to me. I love his work on the Karmakanic albums and when he did a solo set supporting the Flower Kings a couple of years back he was great.

I 've not heard TD's Optical Race either. I've probably got about 25 TD albums but not that one. I wonder if anyone has them all?

Yesterday:
Yes - Songs From Tsongas (DVD 2)
Pink Floyd - Meddle (I don't recall the last time I listened to this one, but when I started listening to it, I felt like I really missed it Smile I was enjoying the first side and I thought "what was wrong with this side really?", but then Echoes started... Tongue I like about their music that they recorded so many tracks and made awesome stereo effects but it never sounds "crowded". I'm always discovering sounds that I never noticed before: this time it was after the psychedelic part of Echoes, the very cool echo effect of the piano note, it always repeats on the left and right in very different ways. I wish that the organ could be more audible on 'A Pillow Of Winds', it's suffocated by all those acoustic guitar tracks.)
Michael Brückner - R is for Rocket and S is for Space

Today:
Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death
Univers Zero - Ceux du Dehors
Pallas - The Sentinel

^ This was my first listen and I wasn't disappointed.
It seemed a little more laid back than other releases but that is not a problem at all.
I'll listen to it again in a couple of days. But as you heard, it's really good.
