Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene 7-13 SBB - Memento z banalnym ryptykiem Heroin In Tahiti - Sun & Violence (Great album David, very original work ) Guilherme da Luz - Multidimensional Possibility (A Portuguese ambiental electronic artist. I'll have to check more albums from him on Bandcamp ) Tσ Neto - Lαctea (It seems that there was a Jarre-like electronic artist here in the 80's. Since it was the 80's it has plenty of Roland TR's beats in it )
Hey I missed this but I'm glad you enjoyed it Samuel. Definitely a grower for me. Every time I put it on I'm instantly flown straight down to the Aegian sea picturing those turquoise blue waters shimmering away in the sunlight. It is also a very pleasant album to listen to late at night, when it feels like the rest of the world is sleeping.
Oh and Guilhierme da Luz is noted;)
The Guide says there is an art to flying or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.

^ Funny, I imagined the sea, but it was a cloudy day. I guess I didn't find the positive vibe you mentioned, but some kind of coldness (certainly not in a bad way). We all feel the same music in different ways, I think I picture a lovely beach when I listen to Can though, the waving ocean and a hot sunny day. I can almost feel the ocean breeze

Pain of Salvation - Be *
Ozric Tentacles - Jurassic Shift *
Pure Reason Revolution - The Dark Third
Mike Keneally - Dancing
IQ - Frequency
Muse - Absolution
Jack o' the Clock - All My Friends
Thank You Scientist - Maps of Non-Existent Places
Neal Morse - ?

So, it's been a rough few days , not much I've found interesting. It can only get better from here, I thought, but I'm in the midlle of Vanden Plas' Christ 0, and no, it doesn't.

Yeah, it was good. First album by them that didn't bore me to death, actually. Not exactly my prefered style of music you could say. But I think there are gems to be found in every (sub-)genre, and this is one.

Thanks for the vids, Sonia, but no more please, I've got my dosage of PoS for a while now.
No, but seriously, the first one was quite nice, kinda liked that one, a bit. The second one, dear God, did they write that as a joke? I hope they did.
Anyway, yesterday, more exploring new stuff for the polls (* indicates favourites):
Vanden Plas - Christ 0
Discipline - Unfolded Like Staircase
Kate Bush - The Sensual World
Cheer-Accident - Fear Draws Misfortune *
MoeTar - From These Small Seeds
Shadow Gallery - s/t
Rational Diet - On Phenomena and Existences *
I got to say, finding it harder to find albums I thoroughly enjoy in this second half of 1st Modern round.
