Did you end up buying other albums from him? Smile I don't think I'll get his new one Dead

Good to know, and the cover looks cool Smile It should be under "M" since "os" is
one of the four words that mean "the" in Portuguese.

Today so far:
Lost In Kiev - Motions (I know what you mean Gary, the vocals are really low, I can barely hear them most of the time)
Squadra Omega - Le Nozze Chimiche
Frederich Shuller - The Untitled Album
Black Sabbath - s/t

Anyhow, keep buying albums because one day you'll have to re listen to them all cause you'll hear things you've never heard before once you upgrade considerably. Also, I would be more than happy to help out once your ready.
Thanks for the offer, Nick. The day I'll make an upgrade will the day I win the lottery though, which I never play, so I wonder how I'm gonna win it LOL, but if the day ever comes I'll be sure to call on you. Wink

Oh and that is a lot of Jethro Tull!!! I almost have you beat with my Black Sabbath craze this past week and today.
Yup, been visiting my old friend Jethro again the past few weeks, and it's been nice. Yeah, I've seen you playing a lot of Black Sabbath lately Thumbs Up, a band I wish I was more familiar with. Played all six of my BS albums I while back. Had it been their first six albums, that would've made for a nice little marathon, but I don't have their first three, instead my collection includes Live Evil and Never Say Die (which I both like to some degree), but also Seventh StarDead

Anyway, last week for me:

Saturday:

Dungen - Skit i alt
Swans - Children of God / World of Skin

Sunday:

Rush - Hemispheres
Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden
Tortoise - Beacons of Ancestorship
Møster! - When You Cut Into the Present
The Esoteric Circle - s/t
Box - Studio 1

Monday:

Quella Vecchia Locanda - s/t
Jethro Tull - The Broadsword and the Beast
lan Anderson - Walk into Light
Jethro Tull - Under Wraps

Tuesday:

Jethro Tull - Crest of a Knave
Jethro Tull - Rock Island
Jethro Tull - Catfish Rising

Wednesday:

Jethro Tull - Roots to Branches
Jethro Tull - J-Tull Dot Com
lan Anderson - The Secret Language of Birds
lan Anderson - Rupi's Dance
Manning - Anser's Tree
Dungen - Allas sak

Thursday:

Tusmørke - Underjordisk tusmørke
Tusmørke - Riset bak speilet

Hi Audun
I see you've had your first spin of Stadsvandringar. What did you make of it?
I know it's a pretty straightforward affair, especially to a prog fan, but I still love it.

Yesterday:
Dungen - Allas Sak (Best Dungen album ever! There I said it.)
elephant9 - Silver Mountain (See above statement and apply elephant9. Yes indeedio!)
Burzum - Filosofem
Pond - Man It Feels Like Space Again
Jakob - Sines (Thanks to Pat. Genuinely one of the finest post rock albums I've picked up in recent times.)
Magma - K.A.
Algiers - s/t
Chelsea Wolfe - Abyss (Dark and at the same time very beautiful album)
Brian Ellis Group - Escondido Sessions
Brainticket - Past, Present & Future (Brainticket is back!....and they sound incredible)
Dreadnought - Bridging Realms (Yet another contender for AOTY! Prog meets folk, metal, psych, post rock and black metal vocals (interspersed with clean singing. Sounds NOTHING like Opeth though) Just click the first song on ze bandcamp and you'll know what I'm on about;)

Yeah, gave it its first spin yesterday. I enjoyed it, but I felt it wasn't completely up to par with the rest of their output. A bit simpler and, as you said, straightforward than the rest, but by all means not bad. Don't think they're capable of making a bad album. I've got them all now (Stadsvandringar was the last I was missing), and there's not one of their albums I don't like. Great band!

Not sure I agree with you about their last one being their best though. It's good, I'll give you that, but for me it's about fifth, I think, after Tio bitar, the debut, Ta det lungt and 4. I've given that one, too, just one listen so far though, so, as is the case with Stadsvandringar, it might still grow on me.
