Ha, the album is 38-odd minutes or so, the trip to my folks' place is 30, so I obviously stopped listening before then! I'll report back, is it really that bad?

It's strange, I always avoided the album because I didn't like the cover! Looking at it, I thought it was a soundtrack to a western (yes, you know I love western movies!), and I thought `I don't want to hear T.Dream do a bunch of wild west showdown pieces' ! Turns out it's not even a western movie anyway!

But it's a very decent album, I was pleasantly surprised.

^ That track is not even from TD, it's a forgettable 80's Pop Rock track. It ruins the mood of the album Thumbs Down

From the synopsis it seems like an interesting thriller movie.

It's better than the Thief OST. I didn't like the movie either Ermm

K. I'll shut up now, but just outta curiosity which albums haven't you heard from your set?
I only ask cause I'm starting to feel that the astonishing maybe their most challenging listen to date, so maybe those 'other albums' you haven't broke the seal on May be more digestible. ;)
Happy listening, all together. ;)
Systematic Chaos was the last one I heard and I'll start again the discography after I finish the ones I have. It's a lot of music to listen to.

I have to admit. For the 13 studio albums DT have done, it's a pretty daunting discography.
I mean, if I was going in fresh having never of heard any of their albums, that would take a while to really process what I've heard. Take your time. DT are layered beasts.
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

Mahavishnu Orchestra - The Inner Mounting Flame
Mahavishnu Orchestra - Birds of Fire (I think the thing that BoF has that the debut doesn't is atmosphere, mostly added by the Rhodes. It has also a much livelier production.)

Mahavishnu Orchestra - Visions of the Emerald Beyond
Vangelis - Soil Festivities
Quella Vecchia Locanda - s/t
