I wanted to listen to "Supper's Ready" but wanted something different, so I found this (had never seen it before):
I love that version! It was the first Genesis song I'd ever heard... I only looked for it after watching a documentary and seeing Gabriel say "A flower?" in his costume followed by those 4 chords, and thought "I have to see that!"

Wow, I had no idea you were so into Gary Numan! I love his 1979 album "The Pleasure Principle" and my fave goth band Christian Death used to cover his song "Down in the Park"
For me...a nice mix of heavy doom and Crimso...
King Crimson : The Road to Red : Disc 4 Houston 6/5/74

I love the live version of Down In The Park off the Living Ornaments p2 album. I think it's my favourite Numan song of all time. . Also, I pretty much like all the musicians who inspired Trent Reznor. Joy Division is another one I really like. Oh and I see your are on disc #6. Keep on proggin man. What a beautiful thing you got there. What a monster box set. I don't think I do not know a bigger one. 24 disc plus a blue ray? Holy sh*t man!
Sunday.....
Today was a DT day.
Dream Theater---Live at Budokan (disc 1)--a nearly 10min version of the Hollow Years I actually like. Very well done. Slays the original. Dream Theater--Systematic Chaos (good album, but not essential.) Dream Theater--Falling Into Infinity ( my least favourite DT album, but it's not horrible. Some good songs and some very very lame ones too. :( Dream Theater--When Day And Dream Unite. (the best DT album I listened to today. Vintage 80's sound. Love it)
Oh and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all you lovely Americans. Enjoy.

Hey man that Thork album floors me every time, I fell in love with it from the first distorted chord, seriously! Also I have that Trettioariga Kriget album but never warmed up to it. What do you think of it?
Getting ready and truly siked for my Fates Warning Concert on Nov/20th.
Today.
Fates Warning--Disconnected Fates Warning--A Darkness In A Different Light ( Can't wait to hear this album live) Fates Warning--Still Life (disc 1) Magenta--Seven ( The Envy song reminds me so much of Genesis's Entangled song. That's not a bad thing. ;) Dream Theater--Dream Theater. ( I really do have to say that this is DT's best album since 6 degrees. Easily.)
