Echo And The Bunnymen - 'Crocodiles' - Post punk and very much guitar oriented. This has aged really well, mixing catchy rock such as "Rescue" and "Do It Clean" with some more unusual numbers. "Happy Death Men", in particular has the whole 'tribal' vibe down and gets seriously majestic. A great album.
2NE1 - 'Crush' - Me trying to stay in touch with what the younger global crowd dig. Dancy pop with a some reggae influences here and there and a few mellower tunes. Like a lot of Kpop full-lengths, some songs are pretty catchy while others are filler. Overall, I like the members' feisty personalities, funky style and group dynamics moreso than the actual music.
Alcest - 'Shelter' - I need to write a full review here soon. This is essentially a shoegaze album, as it sheds pretty much all of the metal aspects that defined them in the past. Dreamy stuff, with a cool cameo by Slowdive's Neil Halstead who sings the title track. I will say that if this were their first album, I don't think they wouldn't be on this site. It's pretty good for what it is.

Ola right back at ya!!
Just for the record, this is an English forum. There are loads of native speakers on here, but equally many who, like me, try their best to convey meaning through words that do not come naturally. So yeah please type in English.
Oh and welcome to the forum - damn where are my manners?
Nice little playlist you've got there.

Lots of music today, mostly because I've been writing a paper on "parents who suck and want you to do their job for them". I think it went well, until I started getting a little too much into the music
Shels - Sea of the Dying Dhow Scott Walker - Bisch Bosch Air - The Virgin Suicides Alcest - Shelter (What a beauty! I don't understand the bad rep this baby is getting yeah well maybe I do, but then again metal heads were never the most prone to change, especially when the change means less metal or even worse: none at all ) Bark Psychosis - Codename Dustsucker Black Mountain - In the Future Bohren & der Club of Gohren - Sunset Mission Boredoms - Vision Creation Newsun (Hell yes!!!! Leave your brain at the door and swoosh down the jello mountain side) Tangerine Dream - Quichotte (The definitive orange album - literally. The cover art depicts an orange with old school headphones on)
