Went on a Van Halen kick today:

Van Halen s/t
Van Halen II
Diver Down
Fair Warning

Oddly enough, I tend to enjoy Diver Down the most out of their discography these days despite all the cover tunes, although the s/t has a slew of classics, and some kickin' non-radio rockers like "Atomic Punk" and "I'm The One". Fair Warning has some extra 'oomph', but man the lyrics go nuts on the dopey sleaze and David Lee Roth is a bit too over-the-top with the histrionics on that...not that he's ever restrained of course.

What a beautiful list of classics in fine audio formatting!
I can see why your sig pic is of 'The Masters.' They write unbelievably great, inspiring music.
Hope you have a good sound system to enjoy the 5.1 mixes. :)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

I love this album. What a great listen.

April 15th and 16th....

The Sisters Of Mercy--Kiss The Blade
Fields Of The Nephilim---Revelations. (This is a stunning greatest hits comp where each single is remixed and remastered. A great collectible.)
Hibernal--Replacements. ( What a Homerun this is.)
Dead Can Dance--Live In Concert (2012) ( Art Rock at its finest.)
IQ--Forever Live (both discs) ( I love the tribute to Geoff Mann when they play the Last Human Gateway's middle Section to honor him. So beautiful but makes ya a bit. )
Seventh Circle--The Struggle (remaster.)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

^How are things working out for you and the Captain Audun?
I've noticed you listening to a few of his albums lately.

My personal faves of his are Trout Mask, Milk and MirrormanBig smile

Not too bad. Really starting to enjoy TMR. Shiny Beast's my favourite though, I think. Mirror Man's not too shabby either.

Mirrorman works best if you're listening to it unshaved. I always make sure to have at least 5 centimetres of beard before I even think about playing that album.

I've got a full beard, so that's no problem.

A couple of my friends and I used to use as the soundtrack to our weekly pool night. Always a Tuesday for some reason, which made absolutely no sense whatsoever seeing as everyone of us had to get up the next morning - and we always ended up drinking far too many beers and perhaps smoked a bit of buddha....oh well looking back now, I'm kinda glad that we did.
This album though just kept getting better and better.I still have a thousand pictures flushing through my head whenever I spin itApprove

Yes, mate, I love this album to bits...never tire of it!!

Hey, I double checked, the Devil Doll album I have on the way is called `Eliogabalus', that's the one you've got, right? Opinions/thoughts?

Nick, I thought of you just yeterday, I went into a local music shop and found that new Vanden Plas album, picked it up to buy....then came across the five disc Mahavisnu Orchestra box set for the same price that I've been hoping would show up down under here....so I had to put Vanden back for now!

Don't worry, I won't forget about it!
