Hey buddy. Merry Christmas to you.
Yeah, I'm hoping for that ever elusive amazon gift card so I can buy some of the many titles I really want. I say 'elusive' cause I always ask for it when people want to know what I'd like for Christmas. I Of course firstly say, 'nothing' cause I really don't like people buying anything for me, but anyway If I get that amazon card I would surely like the Peter Gabriel 'so' box set and the pink Floyd 'wish you were here' immersion box set edition.
That would go over very well with me. :)

One more album spun!

Type O negative--October rust.

Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

^ Nice music, does the first Camel album still sound very good? Smile
What do you think of Sanctuary, since you don't know much of Mike Oldfield?
I kind of like Le Parc, it has its merits and it's better than Melrose in my opinion.
I'll check that Knight Area album then.

Sam, the first Camel is wonderful! It always puts me in a great mood. Love `Six Ate' and `Never Let Go' so much! Great album overall!

I'll keep at `Le Parc', don't you worry!

OK, here goes....I've been playing it for a few weeks now, and I truly think there's a good chance `Sactuary' may just be my absolute favourite prog album of 2014. Every second of it is full of these beautiful memorable themes, played with great spirit and talent. It takes inspiration from Mike Oldfield's `Tubular Bells', but it's so much more than that. It moves though an exhausting range of ideas performed on an exquisite assortment of instruments. Symphonic prog, world music, electronic, folk, celtic, and even chants. Two side-long pieces, and not a lousy second in it's 39 minutes.

So...guess you could say I kinda liked it!

Great, I really like it too. It's more like Ommadawn than Tubular Bells though, I don't know if you heard that one. I think I would also describe Ommadawn that way Wink

Listening to the last Nichelodeon which I have just added to PA...weird, challenging and intense. A great album but you must have the right taste.

All of it? I was only able to download 3 tracks .. looks like I will have to wait for the rest of them until the CD comes.

I have the full album, thanks to Cailyn.
