Red sounds like sometimes heavier fusion or something, don't know if that would be the best description of band's genre but that's only thing that comes to my mind at the moment, jazz is present throughout their only self-titled album in 1983. RYM

Jerry Soffe /bass

Seven months down the line and we have two 'yes' votes and a 'no' in JR/F, it seems...and this definitely belongs on the site somewhere...so where do we go with it now? Ermm

We'll see where the fourth vote puts them, they can still end up in JR/F.

I just recently discovered this band myself and personally think it is without a doubt progressive rock and it deserves to be on PA. I can understand why the JRF team voted it down. It has a heavy rock sound that are quite mainstream at times however there are certainly jazzy chord progressions but certainly not the typical sound of the 70s.

Perhaps this is a job for eclectic. Can some of the collabs and admins listen to a few tracks and give your opinions about it. We would have to re-vote at JRF to send it to another team but i think this one more than deserves a second chance.

A quick sampling through won't cut it with this one. It really needs to be listened to and soaked in.

Thanks :)
