None of the ones listed I suspect. Alright, if you are lucky enough to bag one of those freaky chicks that love everything hippie/punk/alternative - you might get away with Caravan.

For dates, I'd pick one of these, which incidentally brings in some funkyness with the prog:

Caravan - If I Could Do It Again I'd Do It All Over You could seem a bit pushy. A Trick of the Tail has feminine sensibilities, which makes it a great choice, but if Close to the Edge gets played it will not be a night she would soon forget! I probably wouldn't force my taste in music on a first date anyhow though.

I reckon Trick of the Tail is the only one that wouldn't send them running for the exit.

If you played Free Hand by Gentle Giant you'd need one, 'cause you're not getting laid any time soon.

OK, Tubes that is unnecessary. I know you don't like GG but stop it already!

DAMN, Dave, I have not listened to that dirty sweaty Afreeeeeeeeka! album in years, and it is the SEX itself!! Going to dig it out now, that honking noisy sax is a killer....ladies, line up!

That's also a great cover too, the only way I would have found it even better is if instead of a wrestler it was a ninja!

Caravan. While I love GG, it would be the most awkward one to play with all the harmonizations.

Genesis, A Trick of the Tail.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Michael678 for the FAB activity you mentioned above, there are so many euphoric brilliant tracks just to name a few here I suggest:
  1. Focus Eruption
  2. Yes - Roundabout
  3. Budgie - Parents
  4. Uriah Heep - Salisbury
  5. Tom Waits - Hold On
  6. POS - Disco Queen
  7. POS - Undertow
  8. POS - ! (Foreward)
  9. POS - Where it hurts
  10. POS - USED
  11. Ayreon - Age of Shadows
  12. KING CRIMSON - Starless
  13. King Crimson - Matte Kudasai
  14. Pink Floyd - Fearless
  15. Tommorow Never Knows -The Beatles
  16. Paul McCartney - Little Willow
  17. ROGER WATERS - Sexual Revolution
  18. Pink Floyd - "Us And Them"
  19. Pink Floyd Cymbaline
  20. Roger Waters - The Tide is Turning
  21. Pink Floyd The Final Cut

I did not name any David Bowie's songs however he has many and is my top pick. ApproveSmile hugs Hug

Misogynistic humor like this is probably why some women avoid prog and progheads.  Just for the record, we don't much like being collectively referred to as "bitches," even as a joke.

So this exists more in prog? Most people here I'd say are very calm about this sort of stuff. Lighten up. If someone actually meant it, then it's ok to feel a little angered, but come on...

^ Had I made a racist joke on this site, I would have been lambasted for it.  And quite rightly so, I should add.  But I was 99% certain that objecting to a sexist comment would be met by an admonition to "Lighten up."

There are times when I'd really prefer to be wrong. This was one of them.

You are certainly not wrong, Terri. The "b*tches" comment was idiotic and not at all humorous (although I'm not even sure if that is what the poster was attempting). You don't need to "lighten up" either.
