Damnit Toronto.  How the hell to to throw that lead away to a team that is that weak offensively?

I don't know where that one went wrong.  I haven't felt that much emotion during a sports event in over a decade.  My head is spinning..

Congrats to Boston on the big win, and Toronto made a very good series out of it considering they weren't supposed to be competitive vs the Bruins.  Chalk it up as some good experience, and prepare for next year.

They didn't cover the point shots in all the goals from Boston. I am very upset the way i saw this unfolded after the 4 to 1 lead, i still couldn't believe it. Those Leafs are damned and we'll have to see those Bruins again.

A combination of point coverage, Reimer's rebound control, and clearing a view for the goalie (most evident in Chara's screen on the tying goal).

I suspect the Sens will reach the final. One name : Craig Anderson.

Yep.....Anderson was on fire tonight.Wink

Nice play from the Vokoun and the Pens tonight, but James Neal needs to calm down.

WTG Pens!!!

Nice that Crosby got a hat trick but after the Martin/Morrow goal they looked a little anemic for the rest of the game.

I don't know, while they looked sloppy at the beginning of the third it should have been a blowout.  Ottawa's backup goalie looked like the second coming of Patrick Roy out there.

Yeah ok. They are winning the race to get annihilated by the Blackhawks. That's the only silver lining to that cloud.

In the first period, the Senators were looking like Pee-Wee players against the Pens offense. It's not a good match up, because we already know who's going to win the series. The Senators had some problems on defense against Montreal, now they have the same problems, but with the difference that the Pens put the puck in the goals.

The way they were playing, i won't be surprised that they win the series, and cause the biggest upset of the series.

I guess that it all depends on if the Game 1 teams show up or the Game 2 teams.

The Wings survived game 3 to take a 2 - 1 lead over the Blackhawks.  Apparently, the waiving off of Chicago's 2nd goal for goaltender interference is controversial, whereas the non-call on the boarding of Franzen that led directly to Chicago's 1st goal was perfectly OK.  Anyways, it was nice to see Jimmy Howard stand on his head the entire game making save after save.  Go Wings!!!!

I usually hate the Wings, but Jimmy Howard gained like a million points by punching Corey Perry in the back of the head.

Chitown probably can't be happier to get Detroit out of their conference.

If you have been looking closely to the way the Chicago team won their games in the season, you see that they won a bunch of games by a point. After the second game, i saw that the Wings could beat that team in a series, it's not the first time that a first place team get beat up in the first 2 rounds of playoffs.

Of course!   I'm just surprised that Chicago couldn't pull it together for this series.  They are just rolling over and dying on their fans.

Oh yeah.  And GO KINGS!!!!!!
