Bruins up 3 games to none after 2 OT victory. I really don't think anybody could have foreseen this happening.

Boy the Bruins have been fierce since their big comeback on my Leafs.  And what a save by Chara!!  Too bad his teammate (Peverley?) had to knee him in the head right after. LOL

For all the problems people complain about with the NHL, it can at least be said that its not a league where you can 'buy' a championship. Clearly too many egos in one locker room does not chemistry make.

Good point. Before the salary cap the Rangers often tried to buy the championship and failed miserably. The Pens had the best rooster on paper but when the puck hits the ice...

?!?!?!?

There was no shortage of concussions back then. The halcyon element for me was that the goalies didn't attach full sofas to their extremities.

The spirit of the game has been gone long time ago. Just happy to grow up in Montreal during the seventies when the habs were the habs. When
Now the NHL gliding on distant past glories. It's all about f**king money that's all. I know guys who play in a 50 and older pick up league who play better than any of these overpaid monkeys who call themselves hockey players. I watched a few games and just shook my head and said : " I  just I dunno anymore ". My uncle has some videos of old games from the 50s. Before ny time but Hockey was magic back then.
