Space Rock band from Portugal, debut album released this year. Haven't heard it yet, but available cuts from the record leave few doubt. Very late-Floyd inspired, I feel.

From the band's facebook page:

Torga Ostera is a space rock band.
The band's sound is a mix of musical pop values / Portuguese Rock with British space rock (which continues to set new generations of musicians and listeners).
The lyrics are deeply represent the Portuguese way of life, madness, the occult, love, disappointment ...

Torga Ostera's first album was recorded in ZERO ESTUDIO located in Tomar (Portugal). After a painstaking work to get the songs finished, the album was sent to the UK for mastering and it turned out to be a great record, partly due to the great job done by Jon Astley. He is a renowned British record producer who has mastered records for Eric Clapton, The Who, George Harrison, Abba and so on. You should listen to this record through a decent hi-fi system so as you can sense the whole band.

Okay, got the download from Amazon. Really nice stuff and seems like a good candidate for Space. I'll pass this over to the team for eval. Cheers!

Cool. If accepted I can probably get easily in touch with them for an interview and a bio.
