As previously announced, Clive Nolan is currently working on his new project “Alchemy”. The world premiere of the show will take place at the famous Wyspianski Theatre in Katowice, Poland on February 22, 2013. This special evening at the Theatre will be enriched by two additional concerts. One of the Artists performing that night will be Paul Menel, who, along with his band, will perform songs from one of the best albums in the career of his previous formation IQ - "Nomzamo". Today we reveal the second band: RPWL.
The music of this German band definitely has its own style – modern yet also drawing from the best traditions of the prog-rock genre. All in all - brilliant compositions, catchy melodies, mature and intriguing sound!  The band was formed in 1997 in Freising, Germany as a Pink Floyd cover band. After three years they started creating their own music, based on their experience from their cover band era. Glorious reviews after the release of their debut album “God Has Failed“ (2000), a successful tour through half of Europe, and appearances at various festivals left no doubt - the band had become a must-hear of the progressive/symphonic rock genre. In march 2002, RPWL released a follow-up album entitled “Trying to Kiss the Sun“. With this album, the band emphatically shed off their reputation of a Pink-Floyd cover band and created a sound of their own. The band toured extensively through Germany and Europe, taking their shows to a new level with a quadraphonic sound system, which made their already huge live sound even more gigantic. Having published their album in the USA and South America, RPWL gained fans and recognition all over the world. In the next years, the band released the following studio albums: “Stock“ (2003), „World Through My Eyes“ (2005), “The RPWL Experience” (2008). „Beyond Man and Time” (2012) is their most recent album and it will make for the main part of their performance at Wyspiański Theatre in Katowice. As the band announce, it will be the last complete performance of "Beyond Man and Time" album in Europe. The show will be recorded and released on DVD by Metal Mind Productions later next year.

Just one week left to a special show by the German art/prog rock band RPWL. The event will take place on February, 22nd in Wyspiański Theatre in Katowice, Poland. As the band announce, it will be the last complete performance of their most recent album "Beyond Man and Time" in Europe. Yogi Lang comments: “It will be the last chance to see the whole show, there is no more show planned with this show so far! People will see all the characters of the album traveling through the world of awareness shown in this spectacular show which blends together ‘shadow theatre’, ‘theatre’ and ‘rock concert’.”

The title of the album was inspired by the Nietzsche famous words “6000 feet beyond man and time”, taken from his opus magnum “Thus Spoke Zarathustra”. RPWL's story's protagonist is on a journey and meets various characters, partly adapted from Zarathustra, as means towards new insight. The basic idea in this is a so-called “revaluation of values” in terms of a new way of thinking. In this world beyond man and time there already are creatures of higher knowledge that the protagonist meets allegorically along his way: the keeper of the cave, the willingly blind, the scientist, the ugliest human, the creator, the shadow, the wise man in the desert and the fisherman. RPWL's concept album “Beyond Man and Time” closes with a first resume, the big noon.

The multi‐media live‐presentation of this Concept Album with its stunning show elements and musical virtuosity will be an outstanding experience! In addition to the songs of „Beyond Man And Time“, there will also be several „RPWL classics“ and some surprises in RPWL’s live set.

The show will be recorded and released on a DVD by Metal Mind Productions in late Autumn/Winter.

This special evening at the Theatre will be enriched by two additional concerts. One of the Artists performing that night will be Ray Wilson who especially for this occasion prepared a show entitled „20 years and more”. It will include songs from his current live project Genesis Classic - “Not about us”, “Follow you follow me”, “Mama”, but mainly tracks from Ray's solo career – “Tale from a small town”, “First day of change”, “Another Day”, and others recorded with Stiltskin – “Inside”, “Lemon Yellow Sun”, “Constantly Reminded”  We can also expect the material taken from his forthcoming solo album “Chasing Rainbows”. Ray Wilson will perform with an ensemble consisting of a String Quartet plus Piano, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Acoustic and Lead Guitars. The second Artist is Clive Nolan (Arena, Pendragon, Caamora) who, along with stellar musicians - including Tracy Hitchings (Landmarq, Strangers on a Train), Andy Sears (Twelfth Night), Paul Manzi (Arena), Damian Wilson (Threshold),  David Clifford (Red Jasper), Agnieszka Świta (Caamora), Scott Higham (Pendragon) - will perform his latest project “Alchemy”.
