The Dutch progressive rock / metal band THE AURORA PROJECT will be releasing her third album on the FREIA Music label. The album, entitled "Selling the Aggression", is a concept album and describes the change in society seen from 1999 - with the introduction of the Internet - to the formation of the current world order. The album was recorded by the 6-piece band in spring2012 and mixed by Arno Road (Westeinder Studio) and mastered by Darius Helfteren (Amsterdam Mastering). The album will be released in a threefold digipack CD, a limited edition vinyl LP HQ and HQ luxury vinyl LP / CD combination. The vinyl edition is limited to 250 pieces so it's a real collector's item for the true vinyl enthusiast.

The release of the album is scheduled for February 8, 2013 during a big release party at the Tripodia venue in their hometown Katwijk. Tickets for this concert are available, whether or not in combination with CD / LP, through our webshop ( at a reduced price to order. After the release the band wil bee performing at several venues in the Netherlands and  - hopefully - also abroad. Check their website for dates (
