Steve Howe Leaves Asia,new guitarist announced

The reunion of the original line-up was the only good Asia news since their debut, and even then they failed to impress me with Phoenix. Alright for seeing them live (I have the Fantasia Live In Tokio DVD and it's OK) but the new tracks were nothing special.I didn't care to get Omega nor XXX yet.

I don't expect much of this new line-up either.

	XXX and Omega were both dull. Without Steve, it can only get worse. For me, it is Asia featuring John Payne that carries the flame. The latter are in the process of releasing a new album, featuring the great Erik Norlander on keyboards and two guitarists! They are going to sweep the floor with Wetton/Palmer/Downes.

	Put a fork in Asia--they are done---Downes should put a stop to it and concentrate on making exciting music in Yes --instead of bland music in Asia---or he should be replaced with Moraz or Breslin.
