All info for Rob's new solo project called 'Captain Blue' can be found in the 'Get The Word Out' post where it has been gathering dust for the past 4 months: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=89350. To hear a seven-minute montage, buy the album, or read all about the project visit http://www.robcottingham.co.uk/.

Official release for the CD is 14th January, in two days time, but I thought it was about time we thought about getting him up in this forum & ready-primed for evaluation when full samples are available.

You can buy both 'Captain Blue' and Rob's first solo album from 2002, 'Behind The Orchard Tree' as mp3 or m4a here: http://www.7digital.com/artist/rob-cottingham (one-minute samples of all songs) or the latest 'Captain Blue' album (but not the debut) at any Amazon site.

Will keep an eye (ear?) out for further samples... Embarrassed

My personal preference is for the the 'Behind the Orchard Tree' album but, yeah, Rob seems an obvious candidate for Crossover. I guess you'll be presenting this to the team yourself, David? Smile

And a damn fine show it is too...Lots of insight into the making of the album (and its predecessor), and some great music!

For those who couldn't tune in, full samples of all tracks from both 'Captain Blue' and 'Behind The Orchard Tree' can be heard (and purchased at reasonable cost) at Gogoyoko.com:
