These are the most recent albums by two classic prog bands. Which do you think is better?

I believe in the power of King Crimson. In this case, Yes can only fly from here.

Fly From Here isn't great but it's still better than King Crimson's recent efforts.
Frankly, 2 bands who are living on past glories and should probably have jacked it in long ago.

I've not heard the KC album, but I've noticed there's generally not much love for Fly from Here in this community, which is a shame. I think it's pretty good. Far better than some of their post 'Going for the One' efforts in my opinion. I think it marginally better than Drama too. Wasn't most of it composed around that time?

I've tried and failed to get through The Power to Believe several times now. It was just all so predictable by the time of that album. Fly From Here isn't that great, but at least I got through it and enjoyed it. I'll vote for Yes.

The basis of "Fly From Here" does date back to the original Horn/Downes days. They used to perform it live and there's a version on the "The Word is Live" box set.

For me there are many albums since Going For The One that are better than this effort. In fact it may be the worst. Not that i hate it or anything. It's Ok Yes.

That's what I love about Yes. Even OK Yes is still very enjoyable to me.

I just love your "Recent Tracks" listing Ian. UK Subs and Mozart - there's a contrast!

A bit strange compatison. Fly from Here was a lame epigone of a past grace, whilst The Power to Believe is one of the strongest records of the decade (at least for me).

The Power to Believe by a mile. Fly From Here is very good but it doesn't touch TPTB IMO.
