Neil Ardley - Kaleidoscope of Rainbows

I was reading about the late Neil Ardley's 1976
Jazz/Fusion album "Kaleidoscope of Rainbows" the other day and saw it
had been re-issued at some point.  Can any tell me what this album
is like?  I know it isn't prog as such, but I know a lot of you
people cross over into Jazz/Fusion.

This album includes a great amount of the 1970s jazz brass players and other musicians:

 Neil Ardley: director, synthesiser
Bob Bertles: alto, soprano, flute
Paul Buckmaster: acoustic, electric cello
Ian Carr: trumpet, flugelhorn
Geoff Castle: electric piano, synthesiser
Tony Coe: tenor, clarinet, bass clarinet
Dave Macrae: electric piano, synthesiser
Roger Sellers: drums
Ken Shaw: guitar
Brian Smith: tenor, soprano, flute, alto flute
Roger Sutton: bass guitar, electric bass
Barbara Thompson: alto, soprano, flute
Trevor Tomkins: percussion, vibraphone

I've read that way back in the early 1960s, the following jazz players were part of the band: Dave Gelly, Ian Carr, Dick Heckstall Smith, Tony Reeves, Jack
Bruce, Norma Winstone, Michael Garrick, Paul Rutherford, Trevor Watts,
Art Theman, Harry Beckett and Henry Lowther.

Any thoughts on this album would be appreciated, as well as the two preceding albums also.
