I haven't heard enough Naam to post a vote, but I saw Mastodon on Jools Holland and they did not suggest that they were that special, though they certainly weren't terrible.

Not really my taste.

Mastodon, but mostly because of Crack the Skye.  I liked the Naam album I listened to, but didn't find it to be earth shattering like I did for CtS.

They aren't vocally consistent in live shows it seems. Just listen to their studio stuff.

I won't call Mastodon the best band but I will declare them the better band.  Like others, I had not heard of Naam until this poll, and I listened to a couple of the clips provided.  To me, they are nothing more than a decent garage band, and I would prefer for them to go back to the garage.  I've got guys living in my neighborhood that sound as good as this and they know well enough to stay in the garage.

I have heard Crack the Skye and it's not bad, but I prefer to judge bands live when possible, as some bands can do great stuff in a studio environment but aren't talented enough to play it live.

I'm don't really like either of the bands, but I'll say I dislike Mastodon a little bit less than Naam (which I've never heard of 'till now).

That isn't the case here.

You sure, Naam plays psychedelic doom. And this is a great band. One of my favorite.
