Despair Song.
I'm going to type out this play by play as I enjoy.
Groovin' bass, nice ambient feel.
Oh yeahhhhhhhh, dynamics. Love that delay tone.
Interesting distortion tone, flange is a nice touch.
Back to bass groovin'.
I'd be interested to know if that's not a Strymon El Capistan pedal making that beautiful tone. What kind of amp was used for the guitar work? Love the chorus, btw.
Oh yes, I like where this is going.
Some seriously beautiful guitars. I feel the tension growing, give me that sweet departure. Or let me stew in my own reverb like a crab committing suicide. I'll enjoy either one.
Nasty pre-solo into Gilmourland. Yes, sir, thank you, sir. (Honestly eerie how similar the guitar style in this is to mine, although a little more technically proficient.)
I think this Despair Song is a delicious, wonderful blend of the old and the new overall, given the post rock overtones and the bluesy, classic prog greatness. I give it a 10/10 in all honesty. Great work.

Maybe if you've the time, you could check out my band, The Technicolor Nightmare. We have some strong funk influences, but we're definitely Progressive Rock.
