Hmmm, good stuff, and fusion - yes...but there's something of an avant garde feel to some of this material too, so don't really know which sub would be the most appropriate for these guys overall (if I really had to choose I'd probably go with JR/F)...but I know a man who does, and he'll be along shortly I'm sure!! ^ Yeah, good call. Between JR/F and avant-garde rock, I actually think a decent case for Rio/Avant can be made here.
Horns and string quartet in combination, Math complexity, treated/synthesized acoustic instruments, intricate drumming, abrupt changes and odd time signatures, free improvisation, electronica, fusion of styles e.g. ambient/metal.
Perhaps it is predominently JR/F (closer to Forgas Band Phenomena than Art Zoyd?)... it may well end up with the Jazzers but will ask the Avant boys to look at this thread first.

^Fit for both side methinks, and of course no objection to accept them.

Thanks for the tip Keishiro, we added them to the jazz site under Jazz Related Rock.

My gut feeling on first listen is that it's about 3/4 JR/F and 1/4 RIO/Avant. I haven't made my final vote yet, but I am convinced so far it does belong on the site somewhere. Good find.
