My band, Arabs in Aspic has released the new album! Pictures in a Dream is released digitally in all major online stores and streaming services! Vinyl and cd to follow shortly. "Pictures in a Dream" was recorded and mixed in our own studio, and mastered at Cutting Room" in Sweden. The album features Rune Sundby, vocalist in the norwegian 70's prog band, "Ruphus" on guest vocals.

Buy the album on iTunes, listen on Spotify, or your favorite online shop. The vinyl will of course be the ultimate choice, but please feel free to support us, since we are doing everything on our own, except physical distribution :)

We're playing at the Crescendo festival in France this August and will hopefully book several jobs following the release of this album!

That's absolutely correct! We are called Arabs in Aspic. On Facebook we had too many likes to be allowed to change the name back so I guess we'll be "II" there forever :D

Hi Easy Livin!

Arabs in Aspic is the name of this band. Renamed to Arabs in Aspic 2 in a short period when changing members, but took back the original name after a few months.Smile

Oh, bring this on!!

I gave their last album `Strange Frame Of Mind' a 5 star review a year or so back, truly loved it!

Roll on March 5th!

Norwegian 70's inspired progrock quartet Arabs in Aspic to release their 5th album in March 2013!

The album will be available on vinyl, limited color vinyl, cd and major digital medias, and is released through Black Widow Records.

The album was recorded at Børse Studio, Trondheim, Norway and was mixed by Arabs in Aspic and mastered at Cutting Room, Sweden. Pictures in a Dream is the follow-up to the successful 2010/2011-release Strange Frame of Mind, and features special guest Rune Sundby of legendary 70's band Ruphus on vocals.

The track list for the vinyl version is:

Rejected Wasteland / Pictures in a Dream
Let U.S pray
You are blind
Felix
Hard to Find
Difference in Time
Lifeguard@Sharkbay
Ta et Steg til Siden
Vi møtes sikkert igjen
Prevail to Fail

Coverart:

Lineup:
Jostein Smeby: Guitars, vocals
Stig A. Jørgensen: Hammond, piano, synth, vocals
Erik Paulsen: Bass, fretless bass, vocals
Eskil Nyhus: Drums, percussion

Rune Sundby: Guest vocals
