I used to love this group back in the day. A short-lived American post-rock band, Empty Silos Echo War put out two records before their demise. Their sound incorporates elements of post-hardcore and Steve Reich-like minimalism, while venturing into Heavy Prog territory at times.

"Semantics" (2004)

"Inner Working Mechanics of a Failed Construct with Puritan Cement"

I'm going to stick my neck out and say this is not Heavy Prog. ''Semantics'' is sparse, space-filled experimental... avant-garde quiet noise? ''Inner Working Mechanics... '', more dynamic certainly, post rock maybe, but not really for fans of Godspeed and Mogwai in spite of what their bandcamp page says (imo that is).

Will ask the Post Rock Team to check it.
